Gia Lai focuses on reviewing and sharply cutting unnecessary administrative procedures, causing inconvenience to people and businesses.
On April 9, information from the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that the goal in 2025 is to reduce at least 30% of the time for handling administrative procedures, cut at least 30% of business expenses, and eliminate at least 30% of unnecessary business conditions.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested functional departments and branches to promote the implementation of online administrative procedures, ensuring a smooth, efficient, transparent process and minimizing the use of documents.
The province aims to have 70% of administrative procedures carried out regardless of administrative boundaries within the provincial level.
In addition, Gia Lai is accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital with the goal of achieving a disbursement rate of at least 95% of the 2025 plan. The province identifies public investment as a driving force to promote private investment and mobilize all social resources for development.
Currently, there are 5 wind power projects in the province with a total capacity of 384 MW that have been completed but cannot be commercially operated.
To avoid waste and loss of economic resources, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to continue to coordinate with central ministries and branches to remove obstacles and soon put projects into operation, including: Cho Long Wind Power Plant, Yang Trung Wind Power Plant, Ia Pech Wind Power Plant, Mountainous Development Wind Power Project and Central Highlands Processing Wind Power Plant.
