Adjusting many important bills in the 2026 legislative agenda
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has signed and promulgated Resolution No. 119/2025/UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee adjusting the 2026 Legislative Program.
Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to supplement the revised Capital Law into the 2026 legislative agenda for submission to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 1st Session of the 16th National Assembly according to simplified procedures.
Adjust the time to submit to the National Assembly the draft Resolution on coordination mechanisms and specific policies to improve the effectiveness of preventing and resolving international investment disputes from consideration and approval at the 2nd Session to the 1st Session, 16th National Assembly and according to simplified procedures.
Separating the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Commercial Law, Competition Law, Foreign Trade Management Law, Electricity Law, and Law on Protection of Consumer Rights into 2 draft Laws amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Commercial Law, Competition Law, Foreign Trade Management Law, Law on Protection of Consumer Rights; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Electricity Law and submitting it to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 2nd Session, 16th National Assembly.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also decided to adjust the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Real Estate Business into the draft Law on Real Estate Business (amended) and adjust the time to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval from the 1st Session to the 2nd Session, the 16th National Assembly.
Adjusting the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Housing Law into a draft Law on Housing (amended) and adjusting the time for submission to the National Assembly for consideration and approval from the 1st Session to the 2nd Session, the 16th National Assembly.
Supplementing the draft Law on Food Safety (amended) and the draft Law on Derivative Commodity Transactions into the 2026 legislative agenda for submission to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 2nd Session, 16th National Assembly.
Removing from the 2026 Legislative Program the draft Law on Procedures for issuing administrative decisions.
