Dien Bien appoints Director of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center
Dien Bien - On January 27, the Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to announce decisions on the organizational structure and personnel of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center.
According to Decision No. 2016/QD-TTg dated September 12, 2025 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Dien Bien Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center.
The Center was established on the basis of reorganizing the Investment Promotion Center under the Department of Finance, the Trade Promotion Center under the Department of Industry and Trade, and the Tourism Promotion Information Center under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The Center is a public non-business unit directly under the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, performing the function of investment promotion, trade, and tourism in the province according to the provisions of law.
After formation, this unit is like a super center undertaking the task of calling for investment, promoting trade in goods as well as stimulating demand and developing tourism.
According to Decision No. 55 of the Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, receiving and appointing Mr. Ly Thanh Tiem to hold the position of Director of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, the term of appointment is 5 years, from January 10, 2026.
Speaking to direct, Mr. Le Van Luong - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee requested the Center to strengthen synchronization in building and organizing the implementation of programs, projects, and promotion plans. Improve the efficiency of using human resources and facilities in operations.
Mr. Ly Thanh Tiem - the new Director of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center committed to strive, unite, and overcome difficulties to soon stabilize the apparatus and organization, and immediately start implementing tasks.
Especially the key contents and tasks assigned, effectively promoting the role and functions of the focal unit in advising and organizing the implementation of investment promotion, trade, and tourism in the province.
