Giving 600 Tet gifts to border areas in Dien Bien
Dien Bien - Nearly 400 million VND of Tet gifts have come to the people of Quang Lam border commune at the National Border Guard Day.
On January 26, the Border Guard Command of Dien Bien province coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Quang Lam commune to organize the "National Border Guard Day" and "Border Guard Spring warms people's hearts" in 2026.

At the program, a large number of people participated with folk games imbued with identity such as throwing con, pushing sticks, tug-of-war. People also shopped at the "0 VND" booth, and were also examined, consulted on health and given free medicine by the military doctors and doctors of the Border Guard Command.
Ban tổ chức cũng trao 600 suất quà Tết cho hộ gia đình chính sách, hộ khó khăn, bí thư, trưởng bản, người có uy tín, nhân dân và học sinh thuộc chương trình “Nâng bước em tới trường – Con nuôi Đồn Biên phòng”. Tổng giá trị các phần quà gần 400 triệu đồng.

Leaders of Quang Lam commune said that in 2025, through grasping the area, functional forces arrested 3 cases with 3 drug offenders, mobilized the recovery of 12 homemade guns and sent 8 people to drug rehabilitation.
Hiện nay, toàn xã vẫn duy trì hiệu quả 9 tổ tự quản đường biên cột mốc và 11 tổ tự quản an ninh trật tự, tạo nên “lá chắn xanh” vững chắc nơi biên giới.

On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 5 individuals. The Provincial Border Guard Command, Quang Lam commune awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 8 individuals who have made outstanding achievements in implementing Directive 01 of the Prime Minister.
