Proposing many groups of prohibited behaviors in e-commerce

Continuing the 10th Session on November 3, the National Assembly listened to the Minister of Finance, authorized by the Prime Minister, present the Report on 5 projects: Law on Investment (amended); Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Public Debt Management; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Insurance Business; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Statistics; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Prices.

At the same time, the National Assembly also listened to the Minister of Industry and Trade present the Draft Law on E-commerce in the hall.

After the Ministers presented the Submission, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee presented the Inspection Report on the 6 above-mentioned draft Laws before discussing in groups.

The draft Law on E-commerce consists of 7 chapters and 55 articles, clearly stipulating the rights and responsibilities of entities such as e- traders, online business individuals, e-commerce platforms, support units (logistics, payments, advertising), and foreign organizations and enterprises with cross-border activities in Vietnam.
