Proposal to spend nearly 25 billion VND to review for Ninh Binh students
Ninh Binh - The provincial Department of Education and Training has proposed that the Provincial People's Committee allocate nearly 25 billion VND to support extra teaching and reviewing for students in public schools.
Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh province proposed that the Provincial People's Committee provide support for additional funding for teaching high school graduation exam reviews in 2025 and entrance exam reviews for grade 10 high school in the 2025-2026 school year with a total amount of nearly 25 billion VND.
In Report No. 16/TTr-SGDDT on February 27, 2025, stated by Mr. Phan Thanh Cong-Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh Province, sending the People's Committee of the Provincial People's Committee: According to the provisions of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT, from 14.225, tutoring and tutoring in the school must not collect money and only for students who register for extra classes in each subject. Students are chosen by the school to foster good students; Last class students voluntarily register for entrance exam review, graduation exam review according to the school's educational plan.
To maintain, maintain and continue to improve the quality of education and training in the province, especially maintaining the output results of the high school graduation exam and the 10th grade entrance exam, it is very necessary to organize extra classes in schools for the above-mentioned subjects.
"If the organization of extra teaching in schools is not charged, educational institutions will face many difficulties because the regular state budget funding only ensures minimum educational activities at school units" - the document signed by Mr. Phan Thanh Cong clearly stated.
From the above reality, the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh province proposed that the Provincial People's Committee support nearly 25 billion VND. Of which, the budget for extra teaching and reviewing for high school graduation exams is over 18.8 billion VND and the budget for extra teaching and reviewing for entrance exams for grade 10 is over 6.1 billion VND.
Regarding the proposal of the Department of Education and Training, the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province has issued a document assigning the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to study the above proposal of the Department of Education and Training to advise and report to the Provincial People's Committee before March 8, 2025.
