Speed up the progress of eliminating dilapidated houses in Hai Duong
Hai Duong - Hai Duong has started construction of 1,260/1,638 households on the list of temporary and dilapidated houses and ensured completion before June 25.
On the afternoon of March 6, Mr. Le Ngoc Chau - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province - chaired a meeting on reviewing the progress of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
According to the General Office of the Provincial People's Committee, as of 17h on 4.3, Hai Duong province has started 1,260/1,638 households according to the approved list. At the meeting, 7 localities reported 100%, including: Nam Sach, Kinh Mon, Hai Duong, Chi Linh, Kim Thanh, Ninh Giang and Binh Giang. The remaining localities have started from 73% - 96% of the total approved households and are committed to the construction of the remaining households before 11.3.
Currently, some localities such as Tu Ky, Thanh Mien, Thanh Ha are still slow to start construction compared to the registration time due to the review of land documents and procedures in some localities, there are still some households on the list but do not meet the conditions for support such as: houses built on illegal land (perennial land), disputed land, deceased beneficiaries...
In addition, some localities have reported that some households no longer need to request support for housing construction or request to change their needs from new construction to house repair and vice versa, leading to difficulties in implementing the policy.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau acknowledged and commended localities for promptly and effectively implementing housing support for households with revolutionary contributions, relatives of martyrs, poor households, and near-poor households in the area.
At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested leaders of localities to directly inspect, urge, review, and compile a list of households that are slow to start construction, households that no longer need to build new or repair houses, clarify the causes and reasons for the delay, propose solutions, report to the Provincial People's Committee, ensure that all households start construction before March 11 and basically complete before June 25.
