Da Nang merges project management boards, appoints a series of key officials
Da Nang arranges the organization and appointment of a series of project management and infrastructure operations.
On the morning of December 31, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a conference to announce the decision on the organization of the apparatus and personnel work.
According to the announced decisions, the Quang Nam Construction Investment Management Board will be merged into the Da Nang Civil, Industrial and Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board. After the merger, this board has 8 specialized departments.
The Quang Nam Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is also merged into the Da Nang Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a structure of 8 specialized departments.
Regarding personnel work, the Chairman of the City People's Committee decided to accept Mr. Nguyen Minh Huy - Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works of Da Nang - as a civil servant and appoint him to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training.
Many other leaders were also transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Directors at project management boards after the merger, including Mr. Tran Canh Ha, Nguyen Hong Lam, Nguyen Tuan Phong, Do Thanh Lam, Nguyen Ngoc Tan, Nguyen Cong Thanh, Tran Duy Phuc and Ms. Phan Thi Ha. Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong was appointed as Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Traffic and Agriculture in Da Nang. The appointment decisions all last for 5 years.
In addition, the City People's Committee also decided to transfer the project and human resources from the regional project management boards to the People's Committees of communes and wards, and arrange them at the Commune-level Public Service Supply Centers, to ensure the project implementation is continuous from January 2026.
Speaking at the assignment, Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An congratulated the appointed agencies, units and officials. The Chairman of the City People's Committee expressed his confidence that the staff will promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, and efforts to successfully complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the construction and development of Da Nang in the new period.
