Remove 2 leaders from the position of Head of the Hanoi People's Council
Hanoi - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh and Mr. Dam Van Huan were dismissed from their positions as Heads of the Hanoi People's Council, term XVI, 2021-2026.
On the afternoon of January 5, the Hanoi People's Council held its 30th session to review a number of contents under its authority, including personnel work.
At the meeting, delegates of the Hanoi People's Council agreed to remove Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Hoai Duc Commune for the 16th term, 2021-2026.
At the same time, the City People's Council dismissed Mr. Dam Van Huan - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Ung Hoa commune for the 2021-2026 term from the position of Head of the Urban Committee of the City People's Council, term XVI, 2021-2026.
Previously, on December 24, 2025, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Committee Nguyen Minh Long announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on personnel work.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh (born in 1976) - Head of the Department of Culture - Social Affairs, City People's Council, term 2021-2026, was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Hoai Duc Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030; introduced to complete the position of Chairman of the Hoai Duc Commune People's Council, term 2021-2026.
Transfer and appoint Mr. Dam Van Huan (born in 1968) - Head of the Urban Committee of the City People's Council for the 2021-2026 term, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Ung Hoa Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; introduce to complete the position of Chairman of the Ung Hoa Commune People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
