Chief of Office of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee elected to hold new position
Cao Bang - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Hung Dung has just been elected to hold the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council.
On January 15, the People's Council of Cao Bang province, term XVII, 2021-2026, held the 40th Session (special session) to review and decide on a number of important contents under its authority, including personnel work.
In his opening speech, Chairman of the People's Council of Be Thanh Tinh province emphasized that the session implemented the process of dismissal and election of a number of additional leadership positions of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial People's Council Committees for the 2021-2026 term.
This is an important task to improve the organizational apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of local government operations. He suggested that the delegates promote a sense of responsibility, democracy, and solidarity to contribute to the success of the session.
The session carried out the process of removing Mr. Duong Hung Dung (Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office) from the position of Provincial People's Committee Member; removing Mr. Nong Hai Luu from the position of Head of the Provincial People's Council's Culture - Social Committee; dismissing Mr. La Van Hong from the position of Head of the Provincial People's Council's Economic - Budget Committee due to job transfer.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Council elected Mr. Duong Hung Dung to hold the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee and Mr. La Van Hong to hold the position of Head of the Cultural - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2021 - 2026.
In his closing speech, Chairman of the People's Council of Be Thanh Tinh province affirmed that the 40th Session had completed all the contents of the proposed program, approving 7 resolutions on personnel work.
He suggested that the newly elected cadres continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and innovation, together with the collective leadership of the province to successfully carry out socio-economic development tasks, meeting the trust of voters and people.
