How to calculate the time to hold the title of Grade III Primary School Teacher
The Ministry of Education and Training has guided how to calculate the time to hold the title of Grade III Primary School Teacher so that teachers can understand clearly.
Ms. Le Thu (Tay Ninh) completed her internship as a grade III primary school teacher, code V.07.03.09 (formerly 12A.204) in November 2016. However, her university degree was awarded in December 2017. Ms. Thu asked, will you have enough 9 years to be promoted by the fourth quarter of 2025?

The Ministry of Education and Training responds to this issue as follows:
The period included in the professional title of Grade III Primary School Teacher (code V.07.03.29) is stipulated in Clause 2, Article 13 of Circular No. 13/2024/TT-BGDDT, including:
"a) Time holding the professional title of Grade III Primary School Teacher (code V.07.03.29);
b) Time for teachers to hold the professional title of Grade III Primary School Teacher (code V.07.03.08);
c) Time for teachers to hold the professional title of Grade IV Primary School Teacher (code V.07.03.09);
d) Time holding the rank of Primary School Teacher (code 15a.204);
d) Time holding the rank of Primary School Teacher (code 15.114);
e) Other times determined by competent authorities equivalent to the ranks and ranks specified in Point a, Point b, Point c, Point d, Point d of this Clause when teachers are transferred to the professional title of primary school teacher;
g) Working time in accordance with the provisions of law, with compulsory social insurance payment that meets the Government's regulations in Point d, Clause 1, Article 32 of Decree No. 115/2020/ND-CP has been amended and supplemented in Clause 16, Article 1 of Decree No. 85/2023/ND-CP".
Thus, Ms. Le Thu's working time from November 2016 is included in the time holding the professional title of Grade III Primary School Teacher (code V.07.03.29) to register for consideration for promotion to the professional title of Grade II Primary School Teacher (code V.07.03.28).
