Bac Ninh, Bac Giang establish 5 working groups to serve the merger of provinces
Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces have established 5 joint working groups to serve the merger of provinces, including a team to resolve complaints.
On April 14, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province - received citizens periodically in April 2025.
At the meeting, from the perspective of thorough consideration, specific analysis, and frank discussion of each citizen's case, the Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee assigned specific responsibilities to localities to handle each case with the motto of ensuring compliance with legal regulations, maximizing the application of policies for the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
A typical example is the case of a citizen in Dong Khiemo area (Sau Thuan), Bo Son area, Vo Cuong ward, Bac Ninh city.
Researching the case file and listening to the citizens present at the meeting with the people, Bac Ninh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan said that about this case, from the province to the city, there is great attention. However, compared with the provisions of current law, there is not enough basis to allocate land to the people.
The Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee affirmed that for the problems of citizens, in the coming time, when there are new instructions from the Central Government, Bac Ninh province will consider and thoroughly resolve the problems in this project.
At the meeting, citizens also shared their thoughts about the upcoming abandonment of district and merged provinces, worried that their rights would be left open.
Regarding this, the Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee shared the concerns of citizens and affirmed that the province will hand over all documents to the new government for further resolution.
In addition, Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces have established 5 joint working groups to serve the merger of provinces, including a team to resolve complaints and denunciations to best ensure the rights of the people.
Previously, on April 12, 2025, on behalf of the Central Executive Committee, General Secretary To Lam signed and issued Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.
Accordingly, the list of expected names of provinces, cities and political and administrative centers (provincial provinces) of 34 provincial-level administrative units (attached with Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW, dated April 12, 2025 of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee), in which, Bac Ninh province and Bac Giang province are merged, named Bac Ninh province, the political and administrative center located in the current Bac Giang province.
