Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh is introduced as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly

This morning, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to collect voters' opinions at the Ministry on those recommended to run for the 16th National Assembly.

The conference discussed and agreed to introduce Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister, to run for the 16th National Assembly.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh is a cadre who has matured from the work of the Youth Union, and has been trained through many important positions at the central and local levels. She is always considered a capable, brave, dedicated female cadre with many initiatives and impressions in her work.

In positions from the Youth Union work, the Central Propaganda Department (now the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department), to the Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee and working at the Central Party Office, Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh has all completed her assigned tasks well, demonstrating her capacity, strategic consulting thinking, high sense of responsibility and serious and objective working style.

Although she has just started working at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, she has proactively grasped the situation and work of the Ministry, expressing her determination to fulfill her assigned duties and tasks well.

The Minister affirmed that her introduction was carried out in accordance with the procedures, ensuring the provisions of the law.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Minister Lam Thi Phuong Thanh said that running for National Assembly delegates is both an honor and a great responsibility. The National Assembly is the highest state power body, playing a role in deciding on major issues of the country, building the Constitution, laws and performing important supervisory functions.

If elected as a National Assembly delegate by voters, she affirmed that she will strive to fulfill her role as a representative of the people, a representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; listen to and reflect the opinions of voters at work, candidates and voters nationwide; constantly learn and improve to meet the requirements of comprehensive and multi-faceted issues of the country.

In her current position at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, she pledged to strive, devote all her heart and responsibility to successfully completing the assigned tasks.

Minister Tran Duc Thang introduced as a candidate for National Assembly

Previously, on the afternoon of January 15, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment held a conference to collect voters' opinions at the workplace on those expected to be introduced as candidates for the 16th National Assembly.

100% of the voters present voted unanimously to introduce Minister Tran Duc Thang, Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien and Deputy Director of the Department of Irrigation Construction and Management Luong Van Anh as candidates for the 16th National Assembly.

Voters' opinions affirmed that Mr. Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Environment, is a cadre with a strong stance, viewpoint, and political courage; serious, regularly striving, practicing qualities and ethics of lifestyle; having a spirit of solidarity, gathering, and creating high consensus internally.

He has a proper attitude, respect, and openness in coordinating with organizations and individuals; is close to reality; and is wholeheartedly responsible for the problems of organizations and individuals.

Mr. Tran Duc Thang is a well-trained cadre, trained from practice, has held many positions, and is in charge of many fields at the central and local levels; is a leader with courage, intelligence, dedication, concern and high responsibility for his work. He also has an innovative mindset and a breakthrough and activeness approach in policy responses to immediately solve problems arising from the Ministry's management practices and the country's socio-economic development situation...

In his working positions, he has worked with the collective leadership of agencies, units and localities to promote the tradition of solidarity, comprehensively lead and direct the work of Party building and performing assigned political tasks and achieved many important achievements, which have been recognized and commended by the Party and the State.

Hanoi National University recently held a conference to collect voters' opinions on the work of introducing personnel introduced to the 16th National Assembly and Hanoi People's Council candidates.

Voters unanimously introduced Hanoi National University Director Hoang Minh Son as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly. Voters also unanimously introduced Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Tu, Head of the Science and Innovation Committee and Ms. Hua Thanh Hoa, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly and the 17th Hanoi People's Council.
