Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang introduced as a candidate for National Assembly

On January 13, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office held an agency voter conference to collect opinions on the introduction of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term.

At the conference, after listening to the presentation of the candidates' cross-examination, voters participated in speaking, commenting, and evaluating the political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, working process as well as the collective relationship of Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, National Assembly delegate of the 15th tenure.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Luu Quang pledged to strive to fulfill the role and responsibility of National Assembly deputies if voters trust him and nominate him as a delegate to the 16th National Assembly.

With 100% of voters in favor, the conference unanimously introduced Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, National Assembly delegate of the 15th and candidate for National Assembly delegate of the 16th.

Also at the conference, voters of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office agency voted unanimously to approve the list of people recommended to run for the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council delegates, including: Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Member of the 15th National Assembly; Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Member of the 15th National Assembly; Mr. Pham Hong Son - Member of the City Party Committee, Chief of the City Party Committee Office, Member of the 10th Ho Chi Minh City People's Council.
