2 Army generals introduced to run for 16th National Assembly Delegates

The General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) has just held a conference to introduce personnel for the 16th National Assembly (NA) candidates.

The conference discussed, voted, and expressed high consensus on introducing General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army - as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly Delegate with a 100% unanimous vote.

Following the conference, the Steering Committee of the General Department of Politics introduced the personnel running for the National Assembly Delegation, the Office of the General Department of Politics held a conference to collect voters' opinions at the workplace on the personnel running for the 16th National Assembly Delegation.

After listening to a summary of biographies, records as well as the working process at the agency, the opinions expressed at the conference all agreed to affirm that General Nguyen Tan Cuong has a clean and clear political background; is a cadre with basic training, matured in practical combat, studying and working.
