Establishment of grassroots trade unions at food processing enterprises in Lam Dong

On June 29, Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong province) organized the announcement of the establishment of the grassroots Trade Union of Hoa Sen Food Processing Co., Ltd. This is a business operating in the field of food processing.

At the program, Ms. Dao Thi Ha Ny - Chairwoman of Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union awarded the decision to establish a grassroots trade union and the decision to admit 36 workers working at the company to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.

According to Ms. Ny, the establishment of grassroots trade unions not only contributes to caring for the material and spiritual life of workers but also creates companionship between trade union organizations and businesses in the development process.

The Trade Union will coordinate to implement emulation movements for good labor, creative labor, improve productivity, product quality and contribute to building a sustainable business brand.

The Chairman of Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union also requested the Provisional Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to soon stabilize the organization, build operating regulations and work programs suitable to the actual situation at the unit.

In the past 2 months, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation has promoted the development of trade union organizations at enterprises to increase the number of union members and strengthen the representative role of trade union organizations. Thereby contributing to building a stable working environment, creating motivation for workers to feel secure and stick with the enterprise for a long time.
