Establishment of 2 grassroots trade unions in Lai Chau, admitting 70 new union members

On July 15, the Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) held a conference to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Quynh Trang Co., Ltd. and the grassroots Trade Union of Truong Thinh Tan Uyen Co., Ltd., and at the same time admitted 70 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation awarded decisions to establish two grassroots trade unions and announced decisions to admit 70 new union members.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation Luong Xuan Truong congratulated the two newly established grassroots trade unions, and affirmed that this is an important milestone in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers at enterprises.

The Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation requested the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions to soon consolidate their organizations, build operating regulations, and work programs according to regulations.

Promoting the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, and performing well the role of representing and caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

Along with that, promote patriotic emulation movements, contributing to improving labor productivity, promoting the development of businesses and localities.

Representatives of the leaders of the two enterprises committed to creating favorable conditions for grassroots trade unions to operate effectively.

At the same time, he wished to continue to receive the attention and guidance of the Provincial Labor Federation in the process of implementing tasks, in order to build an increasingly strong trade union organization.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union, representatives of the two units expressed their determination to quickly stabilize the organization and deploy trade union activities in accordance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
