Quang Ngai establishes 3 grassroots trade unions in enterprises

On July 2nd, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation held a ceremony to announce the decision to admit union members and establish grassroots trade unions at enterprises including: Phu My Quang Ngai Paper Co., Ltd.; Tan Thanh Phu Trading, Production and Service Co., Ltd.; Dung Quat Production, Trading, Import-Export Joint Stock Company at Binh Nguyen Industrial Cluster, Binh Son commune.

Accordingly, the Provincial Labor Federation recognized 35 union members belonging to the grassroots Trade Union of Phu My Quang Ngai Paper Co., Ltd.; recognized 49 union members belonging to the grassroots Trade Union of Tan Thanh Phu Trading, Production and Service Co., Ltd.; and at the same time recognized 47 union members belonging to the grassroots Trade Union of Dung Quat Production, Trading, Import-Export Joint Stock Company.

The Provincial Labor Federation also announced decisions recognizing the Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions of companies of term I, term 2026 - 2030.

The establishment of grassroots trade unions at enterprises aims to promote the role of trade union organizations in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

Grassroots trade unions will promote cultural, artistic, and sports activities; promptly care for, visit, and take care of union members and workers, especially those who are sick or in difficult circumstances.

Through trade union activities, units will promote emulation movements for good labor and creative labor, contributing to building businesses to develop more sustainably.

On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 12 gifts, each worth 1 million VND in cash, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
