Nghe An discusses solutions to develop union members and digital transformation of trade unions
Nghe An - The Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation gave opinions on many important contents, including union member development and digital transformation of trade unions.
On the morning of June 24, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation organized a regular conference chaired by Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation gave opinions on many important contents in trade union activities in the coming time.
In which, the conference focused on discussing two major projects including: the Project on developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in the period 2026 - 2030 and the Project on improving the effectiveness of representing and protecting legitimate and lawful rights and interests; improving the quality of life of union members and workers in the period 2026 - 2030.
These are important contents, aimed at continuing to innovate trade union operating methods, expand the organization, gather workers, and at the same time enhance the role of representing, caring for, and protecting union members and workers in the new situation.
The conference also discussed key tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2026; gave opinions on building an electronic information page, fanpage and Nghe An Digital Trade Union Application.
The deployment of digital platforms is expected to contribute to promoting digital transformation in trade union activities, improving the effectiveness of propaganda, connecting, and supporting union members, workers and trade union levels in the province.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Kha Van Tam highly appreciated the spirit of responsibility and focused discussion of the delegates; and at the same time requested specialized departments to absorb comments and continue to improve the contents and projects for effective implementation in the coming time.
Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that in the last 6 months of 2026, trade union levels need to closely follow political tasks, focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, improving the quality of trade union activities and promoting digital transformation, meeting the requirements of caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers in the new period.
