Marking the beginning of a new stage of development of the great national unity bloc

Attending the first session of the Congress were Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central Agencies, Chairwoman of the Central Committee (CC) of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Ha Thi Khiet - former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization, Non-specialized Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan - former Vice President, Non-specialized Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education; Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X.

Also attending were members of the Party Central Committee, former members of the Party Central Committee; alternate members of the Party Central Committee; delegates of central committees, ministries, branches, and mass organizations; Vice Chairmen, former Vice Chairmen; members of the Presidium, former members of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the Congress identified directions, goals and action programs for the 2026 - 2031 term to meet the requirements of reality. At the same time, affirming the political core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in building and promoting patriotic traditions, the strength of great national unity, joining hands and hearts with the entire Party, army, and nation to successfully implement the goals of national development to 2030, vision to 2045, and achieve achievements to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (1930 - 2030), and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (1930 - 2030).

At the first working session of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031, under the assignment of the Presidium of the Congress, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X - presented a summary of the draft Report on reviewing the activities of the Central Committee, Presidium and Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 10, term 2024 - 2029 (period 2024 - 2026).

In the period 2024 - 2026, under the leadership of the Party, the increasingly close and effective coordination of the National Assembly, the Government, levels, and sectors; the proactiveness, creativity and activeness of member organizations; the support of the business community and people from all walks of life, the Committee, Presidium, and Standing Committee continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, promptly, qualitatively, and effectively complete the tasks identified in the Congress Resolution and the issues raised in practice.

The Presidium has made many innovations, improved the quality of general work and reflected opinions and recommendations of voters and people; organized launching and launching calls to support the poor and people affected by natural disasters and storms.

Effectively deploying campaigns and patriotic emulation movements initiated and coordinated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Proactively proposing and coordinating with relevant agencies to amend, supplement, and complete many mechanisms and policies for Front work, especially timely advising, deploying and completing the project on arranging the organizational structure, deploying the work of election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term. Has proposed to the Prime Minister to approve the "Project on training and fostering cadres of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in the 2026 - 2031 period"; promulgate the "Digital transformation project of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the period 2025 - 2030, vision to 2035".

Also at the first session of the Congress, on behalf of the Central Committee of the 10th Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy presented the Submission amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (Regulation).
