Ward police in Lam Dong support people to return 100 million VND of misplaced money
Lam Dong - Nam Gia Nghia Ward Police quickly verified and supported people to return 100 million VND to the person who mistakenly transferred it to the account.
On May 12, Nam Gia Nghia Ward Police (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just coordinated with relevant agencies to verify and support local people to return 100 million VND mistakenly transferred to their account.
Previously, on May 11, Nam Gia Nghia Ward Police received a report from Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang (47 years old, residing in the locality) about receiving a sum of 100 million VND from a stranger mistakenly transferred to his personal account and requested support in verifying the account holder to return it.
Immediately after that, Nam Gia Nghia Ward Police quickly conducted verification and identified the mistaken transferor as Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Huong (45 years old, residing in Chanh Hung ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
The ward police have instructed Mr. Giang to carry out procedures to return the entire amount of 100 million VND to Ms. Huong in accordance with the law.
According to the police agency, Mr. Giang's actions contribute to spreading good values in the community, showing the honesty, sense of responsibility and awareness of law compliance of citizens.
