Handing over the rear Shelter to soldiers performing their duties
Vinh Long - Ngai Tu Commune handed over the rear Shelter to soldier Pham Hoang Nguyen, who is performing his military service at the unit.
On the afternoon of January 25, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngai Tu commune (Vinh Long province) held a handover ceremony for the "Back Shelter" house to soldier Pham Hoang Nguyen, who is currently performing military service at the 25th Engineering Brigade, Military Region 9.
The house was solidly built and spacious with an area of over 40m2, with a total cost of 63 million VND. The funding source was mobilized by Ninh Nu Nhu Van monk - Abbot of Phuoc Son Pagoda (Tam Binh Commune) to support the "Ba Con Duong Chinh Yeu" group in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the ceremony, local authorities and philanthropists presented many gifts to congratulate the family on having a new place to live, and at the same time, kindly visited and encouraged the family to soon stabilize their lives, creating conditions for soldier Pham Hoang Nguyen to confidently practice and fulfill his military service well.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Hoang Hai - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngai Tu commune - said that supporting the construction of "Back Shelter" houses for soldiers in difficult circumstances is a practical activity, demonstrating the concern of local Party committees, authorities and people for the military's rear work.
Mr. Le Hoang Hai also respectfully thanked Ninh Nu Nhu Van and other benefactors for joining hands to share and contribute to spreading the spirit of humanity and solidarity in the community.
This meaningful activity towards the Military - People's New Year 2026, contributes to tightening the solidarity between the army and the people, while continuing to spread the spirit of "mutual love and support", caring for difficult circumstances during the upcoming Tet holiday.
