Hue hands over Quang Trung Campaign housing after 25 days of implementation
HUE - After 25 days of rapid implementation, Hue City has handed over the first houses in the "Quang Trung Campaign".
On the morning of December 30, the People's Committee of Hue City held an inauguration ceremony and handed over the house belonging to the "Quang Trung Campaign" to Mr. Nguyen Van Duc's household, Dong Xuan village, Loc An commune.
In order to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, implementing the direction of the Prime Minister, the People's Committee of Hue City has urgently deployed the "Quang Trung Campaign" with the spirit of "Fast - Bold - Effective", racing against time to build new and repair damaged houses for people. The campaign has profound humanitarian significance, contributing to bringing a home to people during the rainy and stormy season, helping families celebrate a reunion in new, spacious and sturdy houses.
After 25 days of implementation, the city has completed the repair of 40/40 houses, completed 2 new houses in Loc An commune; the remaining 3 houses in Khe Tre commune have reached over 85% of the volume and are being constructed by the forces, striving to complete before January 16, 2026, ensuring progress according to the direction of the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh congratulated the families who were handed over their houses in this period, wishing them peace of mind to settle down, stabilize their lives, and welcome a new spring with peace and warmth.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee commended, acknowledged and thanked the efforts of the forces, units, officers and soldiers directly participating in the campaign, contributing to the early completion and handover of solid houses, ensuring quality and technology for the people.
At the same time, the leaders of the City People's Committee expressed their deep gratitude to businesses and philanthropists who have joined hands to support resources to help families affected by natural disasters and floods rebuild their houses. The timely and affectionate help of organizations and individuals has contributed to fostering trust and lighting up hope for people in difficult times.
