Quang Trung campaign may be completed ahead of schedule assigned by the Prime Minister
The Prime Minister requested that by January 15, 2026, the entire "Quang Trung Campaign" be completed to quickly rebuild houses for households affected by storms and floods.
On the morning of December 30, in Hanoi, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference to review the implementation of the "Quang Trung Campaign" to quickly build and repair houses for families whose houses were damaged by storms and floods in the Central region.
The conference was held directly at the Government headquarters, online with the connecting points of the provinces and cities of Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong. The meeting was attended by members of the Party Central Committee: Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga.
Currently, the whole country has completed the goal of phase 1 of the campaign. At the conference, leaders of ministries, branches and localities pledged to continue to promote to complete and exceed all goals of the campaign and plan assigned by the Prime Minister so that all people have a home to celebrate the traditional New Year of the nation.
Concluding the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the "Quang Trung Campaign" is a campaign without gunshots but must be won and victoried vigorously.
After only 1 month of implementation, phase 1 has been basically completed, basically 100% of house repairs for people have been completed; 100% of newly built houses have been started and completed 42%, committed to be completed before January 25, 2026.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated and commended the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, ministries, branches, socio-political organizations, enterprises, especially the Party committees and authorities of 8 provinces and cities in the Central region for their active participation, with the highest spirit and responsibility to "Quang Trung Campaign" achieve the initial goal.
Stating that the implementation of the "Quang Trung Campaign" does not currently have significant difficulties or obstacles, so with the spirit of "vinning successfully", the Prime Minister requested provinces and cities, especially Dak Lak and Gia Lai provinces, to mobilize all resources, the entire political system, the Fatherland Front, political organizations, society, enterprises, people, especially the police force, army, militia, and youth union to join hands, join hands, contribute, and strive to complete the entire "Quang Trung Campaign" by January 15, 2026 (effective date of January 31), to achieve the feat of celebrating the 14th National Party Congress.
The Prime Minister directed that, along with promoting the "Quang Trung Campaign", local Party committees and authorities continue to review and support people if they have difficulties in life such as shortage of basic household appliances; purchase of seedlings, agricultural supplies to support people in re-herding, restore crops, aquaculture... restore production; ensure environmental sanitation; repair and restore the operation of schools and infirmaries.
Localities should proactively resolve the issue, if it exceeds their authority, they should report to the Government and the Prime Minister for resolution.
Requiring people to be supported mainly financially, ensuring publicity and transparency, fighting waste and negativity, the Prime Minister noted that media agencies continue to provide information to encourage, motivate and disseminate good and effective practices.
At the same time, it reflects the people's enthusiasm, creates motivation and inspiration for the whole nation to be ready to effectively implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
