Vietnam Trade Union Badge
The Vietnam Trade Union Badge is presented by artist Bui Trang Chuoc, with the participation of opinions from many officials, trade union members, and the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
On February 3, 2020, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issued Decision No. 174/QD-TLD on promulgating the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union (XII term), stipulating:
VIETNAM TRADE UNION BADGE
1. Industrial dental wheel has 13 uncovered black teeth, placed in the center of the globe, above the industrial dental wheel there is the Vietnamese national flag in the center.
2. Black pair ruler placed inside the industrial gear wheel, on a blue background.
3. The white book is placed in the center, in front, below the industrial gear wheel.
4. The entire large circle has a metal yellow background, white longitude and latitude lines.
5. Below is a stylized blue worker silk ribbon, inside the silk ribbon is the words "CĐVN".
It can be said that the Trade Union Badge is a combination of many symbols with different layers of meaning such as: industrial gear symbol, national flag, book page inside the globe.
Industrial dental wheels are placed in the center symbolizing the working class. Next, inside in the center, there is a pair of ruler shapes symbolizing the requirements for accuracy in science and technology.
Above the wheel is the image of the Vietnamese national flag fluttering, the stylized national flag at the tail has the shape of the letter S - the map of Vietnam, the flagpole tilted upwards, carrying the meaning of resilience, strength and indomitability of the pioneering team. Below the wheel is a book representing the knowledge of the working class.
At the bottom of the badge is a stylized silk ribbon and the word "CĐVN" is the abbreviation of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The trade union badge uses many colors, of which yellow is the dominant color, the color of the Vietnamese nation "red blood, yellow skin". The red flag with a yellow star symbolizes the nation and ethnicity of Vietnam. The black color of the wheels and ruler shows industrialism. Inside the wheels is a blue background that symbolizes the dream of peace of our nation. The silk strip with the words "CĐVN" is designed on a blue background symbolizing the working class. The book shape and the parallels and longitudes are white, bringing balance and harmony to the badge.
