Nearly 200 workers in Ho Chi Minh City participate in donating blood to save lives
HCMC - Nearly 200 workers of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. registered to donate blood to save lives right after work.
On the afternoon of September 22, the Trade Union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (HCMC) coordinated with the HCMC Red Cross Society to organize a blood donation program to save lives.
This meaningful activity took place right at the company's factory in My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park, Ben Cat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Nearly 200 workers at the factory enthusiastically registered to participate.
According to records, immediately after the shift, workers go to the points to complete the procedures to register to donate blood.

Mr. Le Tin Nghia - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd., through communication channels, the unit learned that hospitals have recently been scarce in blood supply to treat patients.
The grassroots union has mobilized and union members to understand that donated blood is very necessary for patients. As soon as it was launched, many union members registered to participate. The Trade Union has coordinated with units to organize a blood donation program right at the company's factory.

"Workers do not have to go far but can go to the point right after their shift to donate blood right at the company. When the blood donation is complete, the employee can go home after a rest period. To encourage workers, the Trade Union presented each union member participating in the blood donation with 100,000 VND".
The act of being willing to donate blood of workers and this meaningful program, was recognized and highly appreciated by the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society.
