More than 600 union members participated in voluntary blood donation, collecting 558 units of blood
HCMC - The voluntary blood donation program organized by the Trade Union in Vung Tau has been responded to by more than 600 union members, collecting 558 units of blood.
On September 20, Area Management Working Group No. 5 coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC) to organize the 3rd voluntary blood donation program "Sharing pink blood drops" in 2025 in Vung Tau ward.
From early morning, many union members and workers of all ages gathered to prepare for blood donation. The union members declare information, screen, test blood, enter information, ... before taking blood.
Through recognition, many union members have had a long experience accompanying the blood donation program of the Trade Union organization. Most of them are young union members, but there are also many older union members who are excited to participate. In particular, many union members have participated in voluntary blood donation dozens of times.
After a working morning, through statistics, the program received the response of more than 600 union members and workers from many agencies, units and enterprises in the area. After screening and blood collection, a total of 558 units of blood were collected and handed over to Cho Ray Hospital to serve the treatment and rescue needs.
