Union members accompany the union to participate in voluntary blood donation
HCMC - Many union members responded to the voluntary blood donation program organized by the union, some of whom have participated in the 44th blood donation.
On September 20, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HFF) organized the 3rd voluntary blood donation program "Sharing pink blood drops" in 2025 in Vung Tau ward, under the Area Management Working Group No. 5.
Coming early in the morning to attend the voluntary blood donation program, Ms. Ngo Thi Nhu Anh (born in 1983) said that this was the 44th time she voluntarily donated blood.
Sharing with Lao Dong, Ms. Nhu Anh said that she started donating blood in 2000, and has been donating blood regularly for the past 25 years. With many voluntary participation in blood donation activities of trade union organizations.
"In my opinion, the blood donated will contribute to supporting and helping other situations. I myself will try to participate in all possible cases. In addition to regular participation, I also promote and encourage relatives and friends to participate in voluntary blood donation," said Ms. Nhu Anh.
With Ms. Nhu Anh's campaign, her husband has also donated blood 20 times, and is participating in the 21st voluntary blood donation organized by the union.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 5, it was initially recorded that on the morning of September 20, at least 600 union members had registered to donate blood. This number is also increasing, and the unit is coordinating with Cho Ray Hospital to organize screening to select healthy cases to participate in voluntary blood donation.
