Tay Ninh union members and workers participate in voluntary blood donation
On February 25, a large number of officials, union members, and workers participated in the voluntary blood donation program launched by the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.
The activity was organized at Hong Hung General Hospital (Thanh Dien ward), with the participation of union members from the Industrial Zone Trade Union Board, Trade Unions of Tan Ninh, Binh Minh, Hoa Thanh, Long Hoa, Thanh Dien wards and affiliated grassroots trade unions.
This is a practical activity to respond to the voluntary blood donation movement, contributing to supplementing blood sources to serve emergency care and treatment for patients. Through the program, the Trade Union organization wishes to spread the spirit of compassion and responsibility for the community among union members and workers.
According to the plan, the program aims to mobilize the receipt of 300 units of blood (350ml type) from officials, union members and workers in the area. Trade union units have proactively propagated and mobilized union members to register to participate, contributing to completing the target assigned by the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee.
The list of blood donors has been compiled by units and sent to the Provincial Labor Federation to coordinate with the Tay Ninh Provincial Red Cross Society to deploy and receive according to regulations.
The program not only contributes to supporting the health sector in treatment work, but also continues to affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in social security activities in the locality.
