Union members and workers in An Giang participate in voluntary blood donation in early spring

On January 24, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, the Provincial Red Cross Society and the Trade Union of Hwaseung Rach Gia Company Limited (Thanh Loc Industrial Park) organized the Voluntary Blood Donation Day program for Tet and the 2026 Red Spring Festival.

Ms. Ton Nu My Hanh - Chairman of the company's Trade Union said: This is the second time this blood donation activity has been held at the company and through the call and mobilization, it has received a very enthusiastic response from union members and workers of the company.

In this period, about 150 union members and workers were attracted to participate, resulting in 135 units of blood collected.

"Although production work is quite busy during the Tet season, everyone's response is very good, with a kind heart and sense of responsibility to the community. There are many individuals who have donated blood many times and are also active propagandists for colleagues to participate together", Ms. Hanh shared.

Ms. Le Thi Be, a union member of the company, said: "I have donated blood 20 times over the past 11 years. I find this work meaningful and helps many people, so I join now. I also saw that there was a lot of anemia in the newspapers, so I was very happy to contribute a little effort and share with patients in need of blood.

According to the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, the two previous blood donations organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor received 485 units of blood. Thereby affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in mobilizing union members and workers to join hands for the community.

The activity contributes to promoting the spirit of mutual love and social responsibility of the working class, spreading the beautiful image of the An Giang Trade Union organization during the traditional Tet holiday.
