Anemia Hospital, Trade Union launches voluntary blood donation
Quang Tri - Responding to the call of the Provincial Federation of Labor, union members of the Health Center Trade Union in Quang Tri province have participated in voluntary blood donation.
Faced with the shortage of blood in treatment, Quang Tri General Hospital has proposed that the Provincial Labor Federation launch a voluntary blood donation campaign among union members and workers.
At the invitation of the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation, on September 26, union members of the Southern Health Centers of Quang Tri province and students of Quang Tri Provincial Medical College participated in blood donation at Quang Tri General Hospital.
On this occasion, 130 union members and students participated in blood donation, collecting more than 100 units of blood.
Previously, on August 16, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Quang Tri General Hospital to organize the first voluntary blood donation. In the first phase, 190 workers from non-governmental organizations participated in blood donation, collecting 143 units of blood.
This activity not only demonstrates the sense of responsibility for the community of the Trade Union organization, but also contributes to spreading the message of compassion and sharing with patients in need of blood transfusion.
