Spreading solidarity from the Workers' Day in Lao Cai
Lao Cai - The Provincial Labor Federation has organized many exciting activities for workers and laborers.
Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation has organized many exciting cultural and sports activities, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate.
After 2 exciting days, the 2026 Workers' Day closed with the participation of more than 300 athletes from affiliated grassroots trade unions.
The teams compete in many events such as volleyball, pickleball, tug-of-war and folk games.
With the spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility, the athletes dedicated many attractive matches, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere and strengthening the cohesion between units.
On the evening of May 15, the art program "Listening to Workers Sing - Singing for Workers to Listen" with the theme "Border Melody - Pride of Lao Cai Workers" also took place in a joyful atmosphere.
The program attracted nearly 200 mass actors who are union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers from agencies, units, and businesses in the province to participate in the performance.
Many performances are elaborately staged with genres of group singing, duet, dance, folk dance, monochord of Mong... praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland and country, the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union organization and the creative labor spirit of the working class.
Through activities, union members and workers have more opportunities to exchange, learn, and improve their spiritual and cultural life after working hours and production.
At the same time, continue to spread the movement to practice physical exercise and sports, build a cheerful and healthy working environment, and affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers.
