Many activities to care for union members and workers in Nghe An on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union

On July 9, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that it had just organized a direct conference combined with online conference to deploy the plan to organize activities to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).

The conference is connected to higher-level trade unions directly at the grassroots level to thoroughly grasp the plan and progress of activities, ensuring synchronous and practical organization, strongly oriented towards the grassroots level.

According to the plan, in July, trade union levels in the province will organize many exciting and practical activities to care for and accompany union members and workers. Prominent is the program "Month of listening to union members and workers speak", creating a forum for union members and workers to express their thoughts, aspirations, and recommendations to trade union organizations and employers.

In addition, trade union levels will promote the work of caring for union members and workers in difficult circumstances through "Trade Union Meals", "Trade Union Homes" programs and many other practical support activities.

July is also the time to implement the Peak Month for admitting union members and establishing grassroots trade unions, contributing to expanding trade union organizations, developing union members and improving the effectiveness of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

The Provincial Labor Federation will coordinate to organize the Traditional Sports Tournament of the Southeast Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of Nghe An province in 2026, and at the same time organize summer camps for union members and workers' children along with many cultural, artistic, and sports activities.

The activities are implemented according to the motto of practicality - efficiency - towards grassroots levels, contributing to better caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, while strengthening the connection between the trade union organization and union members and workers, towards celebrating the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
