Leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Labor Confederations of Southern provinces visit the reality in Ca Mau

On June 23, within the framework of the activities of the Conference summarizing the emulation work in the first 6 months of 2026 of the Emulation Cluster of the Southern Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), the delegation of the conference visited the reality, learned about the production and business model and the work of caring for union members and workers at Ca Mau Petroleum Power Company and Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company.

The delegation included Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Mr. Ngo Vu Thang - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the advisory boards of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Mr. Ly Cong Bac - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation, along with the Chairman, Vice Chairman and representatives of professional departments of the Labor Federations of provinces under the Southern Emulation Cluster.

The tour was organized with the support of the Board of Directors of Ca Mau Petroleum Power Company and Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, creating conditions for the delegation to learn about the reality of production processes, business operations as well as effective models and solutions in caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

At the working session, representatives of company leaders introduced a general overview of production and business activities, achievements in the past time and policies and welfare programs for employees. Delegates also exchanged and shared experiences on Trade Union work, labor production emulation movements and solutions to improve the quality of trade union activities in enterprises.

The field trip activity is an opportunity for units in the Southern Emulation Cluster to learn and exchange experiences, contributing to improving the effectiveness of trade union activities, and at the same time strengthening the connection and coordination between units in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
