Traditional sports tournament connects union members and workers in Nghe An
Nghe An - The traditional sports tournament of the Southeast Economic Zone and Industrial Parks in 2026 creates a cohesive playground, improving the spiritual life of workers.
On July 6, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that the Organizing Committee of the Traditional Sports Tournament of the Southeast Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of Nghe An province had a meeting to deploy the plan to organize the 2026 tournament.
The sports tournament is organized to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026) and the 19th anniversary of the establishment of the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone (August 30, 2007 - August 30, 2026).
According to the plan, the tournament will take place from July 20 to August 20, 2026 with 3 sports including 7-a-side men's football, 7-a-side women's football and collective tug-of-war. Participants are union members and workers working at enterprises in the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks in the province.
Through the tournament, the Organizing Committee wishes to create a healthy playground, contributing to improving health, strengthening exchanges and solidarity between union members, workers and businesses, and at the same time encouraging the spirit of labor and production emulation, and successfully completing assigned tasks.
