President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visits and presents gifts to policy families in Con Dao

On January 9, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) - and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to encourage the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Le (born in 1950) in the Con Dao special zone (HCMC).

Previously, Ms. Le participated in the resistance war to liberate the nation, and now she and her family live in Zone 3, Con Dao Special Zone.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang kindly visited and encouraged the family to strive to overcome difficulties in life, and at the same time gave Mrs. Le's family gifts of cash, photos of Uncle Ho and the 2026 calendar.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited, encouraged, and presented gifts and calendar to the family of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vien (born in 1944), a former political prisoner and war invalid); the family of Ms. Vo Thi Dien (born in 1952, a person who participated in resistance activities) in the Con Dao special zone.

Previously, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang and the working delegation, representatives of the Labor Federations of centrally-run cities visited and offered incense to the heroic martyrs in cemeteries and temples in the Con Dao special area.

According to the plan, on the afternoon of January 9, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang will attend and chair the conference to summarize the emulation in 2025, deploy the direction and tasks for 2026 of the Emulation Cluster of the City Labor Federations under the Central Government.

At the same time, attend the event of giving gifts to the Party Committee and Trade Union of Con Dao Special Zone; present the construction of the "Great Unity Garden" park to successfully celebrate the Trade Union Congress of centrally-run cities, celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress; present gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Con Dao Special Zone.
