Launching the "Connecting to support poor and difficult households" model in Lam Dong

On February 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hiep Thanh commune said that it had organized a launching ceremony for the "Connecting to support poor and difficult households" model in the locality.

The model is built to innovate the operating methods of the Front and socio-political organizations in the direction of being close to the people, close to the people, and understanding the people.

At the same time, mobilizing social resources to care for social security and sustainable poverty reduction, contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc and strengthening the people's trust in the Party and State.

The model operating board is decided to be established by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, directly connecting difficult households with organizations, individuals, businesses, philanthropists inside and outside the locality, ensuring timeliness, publicity, and transparency.

At the launching ceremony, the organizing committee presented 500 Tet gifts, with a total budget of more than 400 million VND supported by 34 organizations and individuals; awarded 60 million VND to build a house for Mr. Ko Sa Ha Sem's household (Gan Reo village).

Mr. Le Hong Vinh (Ho Chi Minh City) supported breeding pigs for 6 households, each household worth 10 million VND. The Lam Dong Provincial Association for Promoting Education presented 20 gifts to disadvantaged students, each gift worth 500,000 VND...

On this occasion, the program also integrates the organization of "Tet of Compassion - 0-dong Tet Market" Binh Ngo Spring 2026 for poor and near-poor households, families in difficult circumstances, lonely elderly people, orphans, seriously ill people and households affected by floods in 2025.

Mr. Ko Sa Ha Sem emotionally shared that the program not only helps people have a more fulfilling Tet but also creates livelihoods to soon rise up and stabilize their lives.
