Continuing to create a breakthrough in caring for union members and workers

On November 21, the Trade Union of Ty Thac Company Limited held a Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. Attending and directing were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor; Mr. Simon - CEO of the company; Ms. Phan Thi Quyen - Administrative Director, along with representatives of local leaders and 115 delegates representing 4,200 union members and workers.

The most prominent highlight of the term is that more than 6 billion VND is spent on caring for union members' lives. This resource is allocated for Tet gifts, holidays, supporting union members in difficulty, serious illnesses; organizing Workers' Month; implementing union member welfare programs;...

The union and the enterprise maintain 4 regular dialogues every year, receiving and resolving hundreds of petitions from union members and workers, creating a stable working environment, harmonious labor relations, and no collective disputes.

Labor law supervision work has been effectively implemented, with 100% of workers participating in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, and the salary - allowance - overtime regime has been fully guaranteed. The emulation movements "Good workers - Creative workers", " issue effectively - Quality - Efficiency", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health" are maintained regularly.

The Congress agreed on 14 targets and 9 key solutions, with the outstanding goals of developing union members to reach 98% or more, improving the quality of welfare and collective labor agreements with more favorable provisions for workers, increasing the rate of union members participating in activities, improving working conditions, etc.

The Congress also identified 4 breakthroughs for the 2025 - 2030 term as improving the quality of Trade Union officials; promoting care and protection of union members' rights; developing an effective emulation movement; improving the quality of meals for workers.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - highly appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union, especially the care work in the context of many difficulties of enterprises. Mr. Tuan also suggested that the company's Trade Union should continue to be a sustainable support for workers, especially in protecting their rights, taking care of their welfare and building a safe and stable working environment.

Mr. Tuan suggested that the Trade Union focus on breakthrough tasks in improving the quality of collective bargaining with welfare provisions such as: supporting housing, raising young children, shift meals...; enhancing dialogue skills, negotiating and grasping the psychology of workers; promoting training of cadres in the context of digital transformation; applying technology in union member management, two-way communication and effectively implementing welfare care.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Ty Thac Company Limited for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 14 members. Ms. Le Thi Nho continues to be elected by union members to hold the position of President of the Trade Union. The Congress also elected 2 delegates to attend the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
