Bao Thang Commune Trade Union innovates operations, cares for workers
Lao Cai - After one year of establishment, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union has gradually stabilized its organization, innovated its operating methods, and strongly oriented towards grassroots levels.
On August 21, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union organized the 4th (expanded) Conference of the Executive Committee of the Commune Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030, summarizing trade union work after one year of establishment.
Bao Thang Commune Trade Union was established on August 1, 2025 on the basis of inheriting the activities of 6 district-level Labor Federations including Bao Thang, Bao Yen, Van Ban, Muong Khuong, Bac Ha and Si Ma Cai.
At the time of establishment, the Commune Trade Union managed 36 grassroots trade unions with 1,713 union members.
With a large operating area and a newly consolidated organization, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union faced many difficulties in its early days of establishment.
With the solidarity and efforts of the team of trade union officials and the companionship of union members and workers, the Commune Trade Union has gradually stabilized its operations, implemented tasks according to the work program, and completed and exceeded many assigned targets.
Trade union activities are innovated in a practical direction, towards grassroots levels, focusing on caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Grassroots trade unions also actively implemented emulation movements, contributing to completing tasks at agencies, units, and businesses.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Chairman of Bao Thang Commune Trade Union said that after one year of establishment, the Commune Trade Union has gradually stabilized, promoted the spirit of solidarity, innovated operating methods, and strongly oriented towards grassroots levels.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, in the coming time, the Commune Trade Union will continue to focus on caring for the lives, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the same time, improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities, consolidate the trust of union members and contribute to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
Mr. Vu Cao Minh - Standing Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and praised the results achieved by Bao Thang Commune Trade Union after one year of operation.
According to Mr. Vu Cao Minh, under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Labor Federation, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union and grassroots trade unions have had many innovations in content and methods of operation, bringing practical efficiency, contributing to the implementation of tasks of localities, agencies, units and businesses.
Besides the achieved results, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation also noted some shortcomings and limitations in trade union activities, and at the same time oriented the key tasks that Bao Thang Commune Trade Union needs to focus on implementing in the coming time.
In which, the Commune Trade Union continues to consolidate the organization, improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities, strengthen care for life and protect the rights of workers.
At the same time, promoting the role of a bridge between union members and workers and Party committees and authorities, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
