Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union leaves its mark with practical actions

Phu Thuy Ward Union (Lam Dong Province) currently manages 39 grassroots unions with more than 4,000 union members.

Although the number of union members is large and widely distributed, in recent times, the ward union has always clearly demonstrated its role in protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

Notably, the movement to improve the quality of shift meals, ensure nutrition and food safety and hygiene for workers in enterprises.

This is considered a bright spot of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union at the 1st Ward Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, held on October 30.

In parallel with caring activities, the ward union also actively participates in inspecting and supervising the implementation of labor laws and occupational safety and hygiene.

Thereby, promptly recommending and removing shortcomings, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations between employees and business owners.

In particular, the ward union has mobilized many businesses to include shift meals, welfare regimes, and periodic dialogues in collective labor agreements, thereby enhancing responsibility between the two sides.

Thanks to that, the material and spiritual life of workers and laborers has improved significantly, creating a motivation for long-term attachment to the enterprise.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor - praised the efforts of the Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union when in a short time it has created a positive impression.

He emphasized: "The Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union needs to pay special attention to and care for union members and workers in poor circumstances and difficult circumstances; union activities must be based on the grassroots level, taking the satisfaction of union members and workers as an effective measure".
