Hoang Phu Commune Trade Union focuses on protecting workers' rights

On January 6, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that the Executive Committee of the Hoang Phu Commune Trade Union had just held a conference to summarize the activities of the Trade Union in 2025, deploy directions and tasks for 2026.

Attending and directing the conference were Mr. Le Khac Binh - Member of the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee; Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Luan - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune. The conference was also attended by members of the Executive Committee, members of the Inspection Committee of the Commune Trade Union and typical advanced individuals.

The report at the conference showed that in 2025, the Hoang Phu Commune Trade Union has effectively implemented activities to care for, represent, and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

Many practical programs have been maintained such as union member welfare, "Union Meal", visiting and supporting union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses. Propaganda and education work has been promoted, over 90% of union members have studied and thoroughly grasped the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies.

Patriotic emulation movements continue to spread, contributing to building a strong grassroots trade union organization.

In 2026, the Hoang Phu Commune Trade Union determined to continue focusing on ensuring the rights of union members; effectively implementing the "Union Shelter" program; participating in the "digital Citizen Learning" movement; concretizing and putting into practice the emulation movement of "5 pioneers, 5 companions".

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Khac Binh and Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung suggested that the Commune Trade Union continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; develop a focused work program, closely follow the political tasks and needs of union members.

At the same time, regularly grasp the living situation, employment, salary and bonus regimes of workers; promptly make recommendations and proposals to the Provincial Federation of Labor and all levels to support and better care for union members in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the Hoang Phu Commune Trade Union commended 4 collectives and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in the trade union movement in 2025.
