Thanh Hoa Labor Federation proposes that businesses build harmonious salary policies
Thanh Hoa - The Provincial Federation of Labor recommends that businesses proactively develop and adjust salary policies towards harmonizing benefits.
On December 30, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to deploy solutions to stabilize labor relations before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2026. Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor chaired the conference. Attending were representatives of departments, branches, the Provincial Police and many businesses and corporations operating in the area.
According to the report at the conference, the implementation of Decree 293/2025/ND-CP on the basic minimum wage has been implemented by the majority of enterprises in coordination with the Trade Union organization. Many units have developed a salary plan for 2026, expected salary and bonus for Binh Ngo 2026; in which, some enterprises, especially in the garment sector, are expected to adjust their salary up from 712%. However, there are still 459/850 enterprises with grassroots trade unions that have not completed the salary adjustment plan.
The Provincial Federation of Labor recommends that businesses develop a harmonious and sustainable salary policy, ensuring compliance with the minimum floor; at the same time, requiring Trade Unions at all levels to strengthen propaganda, supervision of the implementation of labor laws and coordinate in taking care of Tet for workers, especially in difficult cases, through programs such as "Tet Sum Vay", giving gifts, and supporting vehicles to return home for Tet.
At the conference, delegates and businesses discussed the implementation of Decree 293, allowance regimes, work to care for workers' lives as well as solutions to ensure security and order at businesses during Tet.
In his concluding remarks, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Luong Trong Thanh acknowledged the companionship of the business community in maintaining production, creating jobs and improving the lives of workers. He suggested that businesses proactively grasp the situation, flexibly handle arising issues according to the motto "harmonious benefits, shared risks", linking production development with caring for the welfare of workers.
At the same time, continue to pay attention to adjusting the minimum wage, improving the regime and benefits to create motivation for work. Grassroots trade unions are required to strengthen their representative role, taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers.
