Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union creates a support for industrial park workers
Dak Lak - Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union has become a support for thousands of workers in industrial parks.
The Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union (Dak Lak Province) currently manages 41 affiliated grassroots trade unions. This is an area with Hoa Phu Industrial Park - a large gathering place for workers and laborers in the province.
The whole commune has about 6,535 workers, civil servants and laborers. Of which, 6,194 people are union members.
In response to practical requirements, the Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union has been flexible in its organization and operation, closely following the characteristics of each type of grassroots trade union. Thereby, affirming the role of a bridge between workers, enterprises and trade unions.
In 2025, one of the outstanding activities to care for union members' lives is the "Union Meal" program.
The commune union has advised and proposed to competent authorities to organize the program at the grassroots union of Asean Steel Joint Stock Company and Regal Vietnam Textile Co., Ltd., attracting 1,052 union members, workers and business leaders to participate.
In addition, the Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union coordinated with the Dak Lak Provincial Social Policy Bank to survey, guide lending for job creation and propose support from the National Employment Fund in 2025 for 3 union members, each person borrowing 50 million VND to improve housing, living and stabilizing their lives.
According to Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union, in 2025, the "Union Shelter" housing program will continue to be widely implemented, with practical humanitarian significance.
The commune union has supported funding and handed over 5 houses to 5 union members with a total cost of 250 million VND. Thereby, contributing to helping workers in industrial parks feel secure and stabilize their lives.
