Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union strengthens coordination to care for workers in Binh Duong area
Ho Chi Minh City - Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union will work with the Party Committee of communes and wards in Binh Duong province (formerly) to strengthen coordination and care for and protect workers.
On the afternoon of May 14, in Thu Dau Mot ward, a conference was held to sign a coordination regulation between the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) and 36 Party Committee units of communes and wards in Binh Duong province (formerly).
Attending the program were Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and leaders of the Party Committee of 36 communes and wards in the former Binh Duong province.
The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that the signed content aims to focus on implementing tasks such as: coordinating propaganda, education, and mobilization of workers; coordinating in developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions; coordinating in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; coordinating to participate in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises; ensuring security, social order and safety among workers...

Speaking at the program, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan proposed that after signing this regulation, localities will develop specific operating plans closely following the actual situation; after each year of operation, the parties will sit down together to exchange information and evaluate the operational process;
Units proactively grasp the labor situation, promptly handle arising labor cases; request localities to coordinate with trade unions to organize activities to care for and serve workers;
In addition, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan proposed that localities quickly conduct surveys of the situation of businesses and workers in the area; continue to coordinate in developing party members among workers and laborers; and innovate the content and methods of trade union activities in the new situation.
