Dong Nai Trade Union helps workers win 118 lawsuits
Dong Nai - From 2023 to present, the provincial Trade Union at all levels has won 118 lawsuits, protecting the legitimate rights of workers with a total amount of more than 5.5 billion VND.
On October 12, according to information from the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, regarding the representative work participating in the litigation, from 2023 to present, the provincial Trade Unions at all levels have participated in 206 cases, including 118 cases of winning lawsuits, protecting the legitimate rights of workers with a total amount of more than 5.5 billion VND.
In addition, the work of propagating and disseminating the law is focused on, with dozens of training courses each year, attracting thousands of union officials and workers to attend, contributing to raising legal awareness, preventing disputes and building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
In September 2025, Dong Nai Trade Union supported 2 workers to win the lawsuit.
In the first case, Dong Nai Trade Union provided legal support to workers, Mr. T.H.H, Trang Dai Ward, Dong Nai Province (deceased) and successors to the rights and obligations of workers in litigation, won a lawsuit, and was approved by the People's Court of Region 1 - Dong Nai to counter the workers' request and reject all of the company's lawsuit requests. At the trial, the Trial Council determined that the company's lawsuit was unfounded. Accepting the employee's counter-prolaim request, Tien Che Z Steel Company Limited (amata Industrial Park, Dong Nai Province) was forced to pay an amount equivalent to the amount of unemployment insurance; unemployment salary during the period of not being assigned work under labor contracts to the employee, with a total amount of 186 million VND.
In the second case, the People's Court of Region 1, Dong Nai province opened a trial and accepted all of the plaintiff's lawsuit requests, Mr. N.T.B (35 years old) in the labor dispute over wages; forcing M.T.P Construction and Trading Service Company Limited (located in Trang Dai ward, Dong Nai province) to pay Mr. B's salary for a total of nearly 47 million VND. The special thing is that Mr. B is a worker with difficulty in movement, Mr. B had a motorbike accident and fell, although he has not fully recovered, his ability to move is still difficult but he still tries to find a job to take care of his life. During his work, Mr. B always completed his work well but the company owed him wages.

Previously, in August 2025, the People's Court of Dong Nai province opened an appeal trial for the " dispute over disciplinary action in the form of dismissal" between the plaintiff, Mr. L.Q.T (a 41-year-old employee, from Thanh Hoa) and the defendant, S.L.F Company Limited (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, Song Trau commune, Trang Bom district, Dong Nai province). As a result, the Court of Appeal accepted Mr. L.Q.T's lawsuit, forcing the company to compensate more than VND 600 million. This is a case in which Dong Nai Trade Union accompanied the protection of workers' rights and won both the first instance and the appeal.
