Da Nang Labor Union supports workers in suing enterprises that owe severance pay

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on September 27 said: The Da Nang City Labor Federation received, supplemented the dossier and represented the employees of Minh Hoang 2 Garment Company Limited to conduct procedures to sue the business owner at the Court according to the law.

Minh Hoang 2 Garment Company Limited is a company that owes 153 employees severance pay for employees who have quit for more than 6 months and 2024 bonuses that the company has previously committed to many times but has not yet implemented.

Previously, at the headquarters of the Party Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Ban Dong ward, Da Nang city - a session of mediation of collective labor disputes between workers and Minh Hoang 2 Garment Company Limited took place.

The mediation session was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vinh - Deputy Head of the Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Home Affairs of Da Nang City (labrationist).

On the side of the City Labor Federation, there was Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Oanh - Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the City Industrial Parks Trade Union - attending.

The mediation session recorded 153 workers submitting petitions, of which 123 people directly attended. The content focuses on the Company's delay in paying severance pay and bonuses in 2024 as mentioned.

At the mediation session, the collective of employees and representatives of Minh Hoang 2 Garment Company Limited presented their opinions. After the discussion, the two sides still could not reach an agreement.

The meeting ended, and the parties made an unsuccessful record of mediation.
