Responsibilities of workers in ensuring labor safety at the workplace
Article 17 of the Law on Occupational Safety and Hygiene clearly stipulates the responsibility of employees in ensuring occupational safety at the workplace.
Article 17. Responsibilities of workers in ensuring occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace
1. Comply with regulations, rules, processes, and requirements on occupational safety and hygiene issued by employers or competent state agencies related to assigned work and tasks.
2. Comply with the law and master knowledge and skills on measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace; use and maintain equipped personal protective equipment, occupational safety and hygiene equipment at the workplace during the performance of assigned tasks and tasks.
3. Must participate in occupational safety and hygiene training before using machinery, equipment, materials, and substances with strict requirements on occupational safety and hygiene.
4. Prevent the risk of directly causing unsafety and hygiene at work, violations of regulations on occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace; promptly report to the responsible person when informed of occupational accidents, incidents or detecting the risk of occupational accidents or diseases; proactively participate in rescue, overcoming occupational accidents and accidents according to the incident handling plan, emergency response or when there is an order from the employer or a competent state agency.
