Improving environmental protection and labor safety skills for 120 Khanh Hoa Trade Union officials
Khanh Hoa - Many knowledge about occupational safety and hygiene and environmental protection has just been deployed and disseminated by the union.
During the 2 days of August 8-9, at Dien Phu Salanganes Nest Speciality Processing Factory (Dien Phu Industrial Cluster), the Labor Relations Department - Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation organized a training course on environmental protection, safety and hygiene in 2025.
120 union officials and officials working in occupational safety, hygiene and hygiene of enterprises in industrial parks and clusters in the province attended.
At the training course, the reporters disseminated to the trainees many contents related to the Law on Environmental Protection, environmental licenses, environmental impact assessment at enterprises; basic knowledge and legal policies on occupational safety and hygiene.

In addition, the training course also mentioned the harmful effects of environmental pollution on workers' health and measures to reduce pollution.
The content also clearly states the responsibility and authority of grassroots trade unions and the role of the occupational safety and hygiene network in environmental protection, occupational safety and hygiene.
According to Ms. Ho Thi Kim Ngan - Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in the current context, environmental protection is a global activity. Many reports have pointed out that environmental issues have been and are the biggest challenge in the 21st century.
According to the Government's commitment to netzero, environmental policies have been promoted in recent times.
In enterprises, the issue of industrial waste, working environment, safety in production labor... are raising many issues that need attention.
Not only is it a safety issue for workers, but compliance with environmental regulations is also evaluated in trade competition.

In that context, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has coordinated to organize training courses to improve capacity and knowledge for trade unions at all levels in environmental protection, occupational safety and hygiene.
The program especially equips grassroots union officials in charge of occupational safety, hygiene and hygiene at enterprises with basic knowledge and skills to proactively propose and implement environmental protection plans and prevent occupational accidents.
Through sharing knowledge and practical situations between students and experts, the training course contributes to improving the ability to assess and manage risks at the workplace. From there, effective measures to prevent occupational accidents and diseases have been proposed in the current period.
