According to the Trade Union of Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company, the coal mining industry is a special production sector, always facing the risk of losing occupational safety and health. The company currently has more than 3,000 workers working in more than 20 workshops, more than 10 departments and offices, mainly miners.
In the context of increasingly deep exploitation, requiring the work of ensuring occupational safety and health to be increasingly strict, every year, the Company allocates large funds to invest in procurement, applying advanced, modern technology, information technology, and mechanics to improve management efficiency and improve working conditions for workers.
The company always seriously follows the lessons learned from each work incident and accident. Thereby strengthening training and disciplining the psychology of lack of awareness of safety autonomy, violating safe working processes, regulations, and measures, and lack of inspection and supervision.

Every year, the Trade Union - Company - Youth Union has signed a joint resolution on implementing occupational safety and health work to promote the emulation movement to prevent and reduce occupational accidents, protect the labor force, especially young workers of working age and occupational age. Thereby, it is determined not to let work accidents or disastrous incidents happen; reduce work accidents and subjective incidents, especially serious accidents.

The Trade Union also performs the function of participating, inspecting, supervising the development of plans, and implementing the proposed contents. In particular, special attention should be paid to criteria such as workers in the tunnel not having to walk 500m; transporting materials and equipment by hand no more than 30m; overcoming factors exceeding the permitted standards at workers' workplaces, such as dust, temperature, noise, humidity, electromagnetics, oxygen concentration, etc.
Workers working in positions and jobs with high risks of safety and occupational diseases are regularly propagated by the departmental trade union to ensure occupational safety and health at the production site and are given high-quality personal protective equipment by the trade union in coordination with the profession.
Through the recommendations of the occupational safety and hygiene network, the Trade Union participated in the inspection, guidance on settlement and professional recommendations for timely remedial measures. In 2024, the Trade Union will coordinate professionally to launch an emulation movement to take on occupational safety and health projects, improve working conditions for workers; strive to have at least 1 project and solution; the Trade Union of the manufacturing sector will have 1 project and solution on labor safety.
Therefore, the online contest "CNVCLD learn about occupational safety and health" has contributed to raising awareness of occupational safety and health among staff and workers.
