Vietnam - Cuba Dong Hoi Friendship Hospital trains on occupational safety and hygiene
Quang Tri - The training course helps medical staff improve their knowledge and skills in occupational safety and hygiene, ensuring safety for workers and patients.
On September 27, Vietnam - Cuba Dong Hoi Friendship Hospital (Quang Tri province) said that the unit had just organized a "Work safety and hygiene" training course in 2025 for all staff, civil servants and workers to raise awareness and practical skills in ensuring occupational safety and hygiene at medical facilities.
Attending the program was MSc. Pham Xuan Thanh - Deputy Head of the Department of Community and Labor Environmental Health, Department of Prevention and Control (Ministry of Health) who directly taught. On the hospital side, there was Dr. CKII Nguyen Duc Cuong - Director of the Hospital, along with a large number of medical staff attending.
At the training course, students were provided with basic knowledge about the rights and obligations of employees and employers in the field of occupational safety and hygiene; dangerous and harmful factors in the working environment; preventive measures and building a safety culture in hospitals; instructions on health monitoring for employees in the health sector...
Through training, the team of medical staff and employees has strengthened their knowledge, improved their responsibility in performing tasks, contributing to ensuring the safety of workers, while increasing the effectiveness of caring for and serving patients at the facility.
